Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the website and/or services of SavingTime. By using our website and/or our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. General and subject matter

The website www.savingtime.co.za (hereinafter "website") is a website operated by Timesaver Concierge (Pty) Ltd, Workshop 17, The Watershed, Dock Road, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town 8002 (hereinafter "SavingTime" or "we"). The website informs consumers and other visitors (hereinafter "User") of our website about our services.

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "Terms") govern your use of our website and/or our services.

Our website allows users to enter specific vehicle data in an input form, to obtain information as to the renewal cost of their vehicles licence disc. Users are able to electronically upload all required documents and information so that SavingTime can conduct the renewal process on behalf of our users with the municipality of the user's residence. Where possible we will inform you of any penalties and arrear payments which are due when renewing the licence.

2. Vehicle Renewal Quote

The vehicle renewal quote, which we provide is based on a number of factors which determine the final quote. Information such as the expiry date of the current licence disc and make & model of the car have to be truthfully entered by the user to determine a correct quote.

Each quote carried out on our website online or which is emailed to a user is based on the vehicle information and other information provided by the user. In some instances a different renewal cost may apply and we reserve the right to either credit or further debit a user if the actual renewal cost is different from what was quoted.

The municipality may refuse to issue a licence disc in case of a warrant of arrest has been issued against the owner of the vehicle or if the owner owns another motor vehicle the licence of which has expired more than 23 days ago. For further information please refer to the National Road Traffic Act section 25 paragraph 7.The municipality may also refuse to issue a licence disc if the owner has outstanding penalties or fees.

3. User Rights

Users have the right to view and print the information provided by SavingTime through the website's online renewal tool.

The use is only permitted for personal and non-commercial purposes. Users may not use the through online queries obtained data either in full, or in part, or excerpts in order to build its own database in any form of media and / or for commercial data recovery or to provide information to third parties and / or for any other commercial purposes.

Activities or actions of users that are aimed to make our service dysfunctional or complicating to use are prohibited.

Users may not without our written consent systematically extract parts of our service and data and / or reuse it. In particular, users are prohibited without the written consent of SavingTime to perform data mining, use any robots or similar data gathering and extraction programs to extract any substantial parts of our service and/or data for reuse.

Linking, integration or any other links to our service without the written consent of SavingTime are not permitted.

The presentation and functionality of the website's service can be, depending on type of access - for example, via desktop or mobile application - differ. The right to use the website's service and its functions is only within the current framework based on the current technology available.

4. Warranty

We are not liable for any technical defects, in particular for the continuous and uninterrupted availability of the website, for the correct reproduction of the user-entered content as well as the quote estimate provided online or via email.

5. Data Protection

The protection of personal data and privacy of users of our website is taken very seriously by us. To ensure maximum protection, it is natural for us that we comply with all legal requirements of data protection law in South Africa. Please refer to our data protection policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

We try to ensure that the services of SavingTime are always available without interruptions and are without errors. Due to the nature of the Internet, we however cannot guarantee this. Also, your access to our website may occasionally be interrupted or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new services. We try to limit the frequency and duration of each temporary interruption or restriction.

SavingTime does not accept any liability in respect of damages caused to the user through the use of the website and its services.

The content of this website and the e-mails are created with great care. However SavingTime is not responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the content. The use of the online content is at the user's own risk.

7. Copyright and Usage Rights

All logos, logos, texts, images and other data on our website are subject to copyright. The use of our website does not entitle you to further commercial use of this information. The modification, further processing and use in media of any kind is not permitted. Any further commercial use is possible only with prior written consent from us.

The unauthorised use of our information and the logos or trademarks of third parties that are represented on our website, violate our rights or the rights of others and is not permitted.

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

The law of the South African Republic shall apply to all legal transactions or other legal relations with us.

9. Severability

Should any of these terms and conditions wholly or partly not legally be effective or lose their legal validity later, then this shall not otherwise affect the validity of the terms and conditions. The statutory provisions shall replace the invalid provisions. The same applies if the terms and conditions have an unforeseen omission.
